Born and raised in the North of England, from a young age Paul knew he wanted to be a musician. In his early teenage years he formed rock a band and would regularly play in his local venues.

By his late teens, he was already touring the UK and building a nationwide following. For the next 10 years, he performed as a professional musician doing session work and with his rock/metal band 'Beyond All Reason' playing some of the biggest venues and festival stages with some of the biggest bands of the 2000's.

As the singer and guitarist of the band, he was well known for always wearing his black (now very beaten up) cowboy hat. Cue the hat obsession.

Whilst recording an album with the band in Germany, in his downtime Paul began working on a costume hat for halloween. As it turns out, this would be the first of many, and his best selling hat for the last 12 years.

Fast forward a few years and the band has taken a step back from pursuing a full time career in music, free beer and exposure doesn't pay the bills, so paul dived head first into learning the art of hat making.
